We're OAK+CLAY — a husband and wife duo making furniture from our studio in North Yorkshire. One of us works with wood, the other with clay. Together, we create pieces that feel calm, grounded and built to last.

Our designs are rooted in a love of traditional, handmade tiles and a committment to simple forms, bringing together clean lines, honest materials, and a bit of northern graft. Every piece is made by us, using locally sourced timber and tiles handbuilt and fired in our studio. No factory, no fuss. Just slow-made furniture with soul.

Because we care about replenishing what we use, we donate 2% of every sale to replanting sustainably grown oak in North Yorkshire — helping to ensure this beautiful material thrives for generations to come.​
